Munim Khan
Munim Khan Khan-i-Khanan was a Mughal general under both emperors Humayun and Akbar. He was titled ''Khan-i-Khanan'' when Akbar appointed him as ''Vakil'' (Prime Minister).〔AKM Yaqub Husain, (Munim Khan ), Banglapedia: The National Encyclopedia of Bangladesh, Asiatic Society of Bangladesh, Dhaka, ''Retrieved: 2011-05-10''〕 Then in 1564 he became the Subahdar of Jaunpur. He also served as the governor of Bengal and Bihar during 1574–1575. ==Origin== His ancestors were from Andijan (in present-day Uzbekistan).〔 His father was Miran Beg Andijani.
